Nia is rooted in the belief that movement heals — and nowhere is that clearer than in the Healing Arts it draws from. In this workshop, Gigi explores three of them: Yoga, the Alexander Technique, and the work of Moshe Feldenkrais. The first 30 minutes are devoted to understanding each practice and how its principles translate into Nia movement. Then you'll move through a 50-minute class where those ideas become felt experience. Expect a session that's as mindful as it is physical.

Meet Your Instructor
Gigi Greene holds a BA in Dance from Sam Houston State University and spent nearly 25 years as a Pilates instructor before returning to Nia in 2020. She has earned her white, blue, green, and brown belts in Nia and has been teaching for three years.
