Rise to pointe on your own terms.

12 Weeks. Instructor Approval Required.

A 12-week pointe program for ballet dancers ready to take the next step: real technique, real strength, and the artistry of pointe work, taught with care.

WHY THIS PROGRAM

Pointe isn't rushed here. It's earned, one technically sound week at a time.

01

No rushing

Twelve weeks gives your body real time to build the strength and alignment your pointe shoes will ask for. No catching up, no shortcuts.

02

Readiness first

A pointe test and instructor approval come before enrollment, so every dancer steps into the box prepared, not guessing.

03

One expert eye, every class

A reserved hour, every Sunday, with Kristina Mosbo, an ABT Certified Teacher who has danced the roles she's teaching.

04

Something you build, not just try

By week 12, you won't just have sampled pointe. You'll have real technique, properly fitted shoes, and a Showcase performance to call your own.

BY WEEK 12

What You’ll Walk Away with

Twelve weeks of focused, technical pointe training — built on what you already know.

Foundations

Strength through the ankle, alignment through the hip, and the relevé control your body needs before your pointe shoes ask for more. It sounds simple. It is not. It's also the whole secret.

The Movements

Échappés, piqués, bourrées, sous-sus -- the pointe vocabulary built week by week, danced with the same care you've already brought to the barre.

Properly Fitted, Properly Prepared

A group pointe shoe fitting and a sewing party before week one, so your shoes are working with you, not against you, from day one.

A Variation of Your Own

Individual steps become phrases. Phrases become a variation. By the Showcase, you'll have something complete that you built, Sunday by Sunday.

A Community Ready for the Same Next Step

Dancers who've put in the work at the barre and are ready for what comes next -- together.

Prepare for pointe before week one.

Get properly fitted and ready before the program starts: a group Pointe Shoe Fitting at Jazz Rags on August 22, followed by a Sewing Party at the studio on August 23 to get your shoes ready to dance in.

Key Dates: Prepare for Pointe

Before week one, two things need to happen: getting properly fitted for pointe shoes, and getting those shoes ready to actually dance in. Both are built into the program, not extra homework.

Join us for a group Pointe Shoe Fitting at Jazz Rags, then bring your shoes back to the studio for a Sewing Party where we'll get them properly prepped before your first class.

A few things to know:

  • Both the fitting and the sewing party are required steps before week one, not optional add-ons.
  • Already own pointe shoes? Bring them to the sewing party, even if they're brand new.
