Sassy Summer is officially in full swing, and it’s been everything we hoped for. Thank you to everyone who showed up to a demo, claimed a spot, or just came to cheer at (Un)Covered. The energy in the studio this month has been something else.
There’s still more ahead this summer, and fall enrollment just opened across five programs. Read on for all of it.

Sassy Summer
Finale Performance
Saturday, August 15 · 4:00–5:00 PM · $15
Eight weeks of work. One stage. All the sass. Our Belly Dancing, Pole, and Burlesque dancers take the floor to show you everything they’ve built since June — not a competition, just a celebration of what happens when adults decide to show up for themselves all summer long.
Come perform, come cheer, or simply come watch. Tickets are limited, so don’t wait too long to grab yours.

Beginning Ballet Program
Every ballerina started
exactly where you are.
20 spots · Zero experience required
This fall, Beginning Ballet Program is led by Ellen Wilcox who brings more than 25 years of teaching experience to Ballet 101, the first half of a two-part journey that continues into Ballet 201 this winter. No re-registering, no losing your spot.
We’re also introducing something new for this program: a free Demo Day where you can take a real ballet class, get sized for your shoes, meet your instructor, and ask every question you’ve been holding onto — all in one visit.

New This Fall · Intro to Belly Dancing
A dance form thousands
of years in the making.
Belly dance has been performed for thousands of years — carried through generations, countries, and traditions long before it ever found its way into a studio. This fall, it finds its way into ours, with a brand-new 12-week program built for people who have never tried it before.
Led by Katherine Logsdon, this beginner program asks for nothing but curiosity — no rhythm, no dance background, no experience required.

You’ve thought about it.
Now’s the time.
Only 12 spots for our longest beginner pole program yet, taught by Lisa Perkins. Built for people starting completely from scratch, with room to absorb the basics before the spins start asking for it.

Pointe Program
Rise to pointe on your own terms.
Twelve weeks of technique-focused pointe training, by instructor approval and pointe test. Building toward a Showcase on November 21.
Schedule: Sundays, 12:00–1:00 PM · Aug 30 – Nov 15
Pricing: $85/28 days, added to your current membership
Pointe Shoe Fitting: Saturday, Aug 22 at Jazz Rags
Sewing Party: Sunday, Aug 23 at the studio

Newest This Fall · Cinderella: Ballet Variations
Step out of the corps and into character.
Twelve weeks spent inside the story of Cinderella, working closely with Kristina on the artistry and presence that bring a variation to life — culminating in a showcase and a ball on November 21.
Schedule: Sundays, 4:00–5:00 PM · Aug 30 – Nov 15
Prerequisite: Premium Membership with regular Continuing Ballet attendance, Sundays 2:30–4:00 PM
Pricing: $85/28 days · $20 off when paired with the Pointe Program
