at the barre.
Three members of our studio family are expecting. We are so full of joy we simply had to share.

Every now and then, something happens at the studio that stops you in your tracks and just makes you smile. This is one of those moments.
Three members of our Dance Barre family are expecting babies this year, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for each of them. This community is something special, and it keeps growing in every sense of the word.
I want you to meet them.

Megan & Jacob Becker
Megan is one of our most tenured instructors and has been a cornerstone of The Dance Barre from the beginning. She has poured so much of herself into this studio and into every student she teaches. She and her husband Jacob are expecting their very first baby, and this milestone feels like exactly the kind of joy she deserves. We are cheering for this little family with everything we have.

Courtney & Xavier Alcala
Courtney is one of our beloved subs, and Xavier brings joy to every tap class he teaches. Together they’re already wonderful parents to their daughter Miabella, and now she’s going to be a big sister. This family has so much love to give, and it just keeps multiplying.

Novemgrace Dela Cerna
You may not have met Novemgrace in person, but her work is felt every single time you interact with this studio. She supports The Dance Barre virtually, keeping everything behind the scenes running smoothly over Zoom and across every inbox and spreadsheet that makes this place function. She’s already a wonderful mom to two boys, and now she’s adding to her family once more. We are so happy for her.

Three babies. Three families growing. One very happy studio.
This is what community looks like. It shows up in the classes, in the friendships made at the barre, and in moments like this one, where we get to celebrate the full lives being lived by the people who make this place what it is.
