Discovering Nia: A Free Introductory Workshop with Holly Nastasi

Discovering Nia is your invitation to experience movement in a whole new way — joyful, expressive, and deeply restorative.

Join us Monday, September 1 from 12:00–1:30 PM for this free introductory workshop at The Dance Barre, where you’ll be gently guided through the fundamentals of the Nia Technique® — a unique blend of dance, martial arts, and healing arts designed to uplift your body, calm your mind, and awaken your spirit.

During this one-hour class, Nia Trainer Holly Nastasi will gently introduce you to:

  • The 7 Cycles of a Nia class, from setting your focus to stepping out empowered

  • 52 simple moves that anyone can follow — no experience necessary

  • A soundtrack of music that inspires your body to move your way

  • A welcoming, body-positive space where joy, not judgment, leads the way

Whether you're a fitness veteran or exploring movement for the first time, Nia meets you where you are and helps you discover a new relationship with your body.

Come experience why Nia is called the “Art of Sensation.”

Meet Holly Nastasi
