What to Expect

ALL CLASSES will remain welcome to drop-ins. 

Participating classes will begin to prepare for the showcase material in February, Classes participating in Showcase will still operate as normal, with a warm up, center floor and across the floor technique practices, concluding in a combination. Instructors will be incorporating Showcase routine material into the technique being taught and combinations will be composed of Showcase routine combinations. After the class, the few minutes between the classes will be dedicated to running the completed Showcase Choreography. Videos of class choreography will be provided and continually updated for your convenience of practicing at home.

2-4 additional rehearsals per class will be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays in April (April 6th and 7th, April 13th and 14th and April 20th and 21st) for Showcase performers only.

Time Commitment: As a showcase participant you are encouraged to attend classes regularly as well as additional rehearsals leading up to the showcase. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled Saturday afternoons leading up to Showcase; instructors will work with each class to determine the best days/times.

Private Lessons: Need additional instruction to catch up or feel confident with your dance(s). Private lessons to work on choreography are offered at a discounted rate of $60 for a 50 minutes or $35 for 25 minutes.

Solo/Duet/Small Group: Interested in working towards more personalized goals? Talk to us about creating a custom showcase routine for you, you and an instructor, or you and a friend or friends. Dance Barre instructors are delighted to work with you on taking your performance to the next step. Take advantage of the special discounted private lessons offered for Showcase performers only $100 Choreography fee, $235 for 4-50 minute  lessons with the instructor of your choice. Additional lesson can be purchased for $60 for 50 minutes

Tech and Dress Rehearsal:  Sunday, April 28th 5:00-8:00 PM

Showcase Date: Saturday May 4th at 3:30 (call time at 2:30) and 6:00 PM (5:00 PM call time) at The Stage at Pure Energy Dance Productions. Followed by a Soiree in the Moonlight Ballroom

Performance Fee: $35 by April 1st, $50 after April 1st 

*Performance Fees help compensate for costs associated with additional rehearsals, performance and soiree costs

Costume/Accessory Fee: Costume needs determined by class and instructor.

Ticket Sales: $10 which will include Showcase and Soiree.
