Footwork, Thursdays, 7:00-7:50 PM
It doesn’t always take two to tango. Also called “shines”, footwork refers to dancing solo a particular style of dance that is normally danced with a partner. Dancing solo gives you an opportunity to embellish and stylize more while focusing on Latin styles of dance including; Rumba, Salsa, Bachata, and Chacha. Let’s get those feet moving and those hips grooving.
Ballroom
Treat yourself to a partner ballroom class that will be easy to pick up but difficult to master. These weekly classes teach you the basic building blocks for partner dancing which you can show off on the dance floor. You can expect class to be taught by experienced instructors while meeting the rest of the class by rotating partners. Come with your significant other or as you are! It does however make the Perfect Date night!
LEVEL 1 CLASSES
SWING BASICS Level 1, Sundays, 3:00-3:50 PM: Dive into the vibrant world of swing dancing! Master the foundational steps and techniques of East Coast Swing and Jitterbug in this lively and engaging dance class.
SALSA BASICS Level 1, Thursdays, 8:00-8:50 PM: Learn salsa basics and explore other Latin social styles like bachata and merengue in this vibrant dance class. Perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills.
LEVEL 2 CLASSES
SALSA LEVEL 2, Tuesdays, 7:00-7:50 PM: Building upon the fundamentals, this series is designed for dancers who are already familiar with the basics and eager to expand their repertoire. Dive deeper into the intricate footwork, styling, and partner dynamics that define salsa. In addition to refining your salsa technique, we'll also explore advanced variations and introduce you to new Latin social dance styles, elevating your overall dance proficiency.
FREE CLASS & SOCIAL DANCE
Lively and engaging 45 minute dance class. Class will be followed by 45 minutes of open social dancing time. Attend just the class, just the social dance or both!
