A Welcoming Space to Start or Return to Dance

The Beginning Ballet Program is designed to make starting ballet feel simple, supportive, and achievable. You begin with Ballet 101, a 12-week introduction that teaches the foundations in a clear, encouraging way. Once you complete 101, you continue into Ballet 201, the next 12 weeks where everything feels more familiar and your confidence grows.

The full journey spans 24 weeks, but you move through it gradually, one class and one skill at a time. You stay with the same instructor and group, which helps you build consistency, community, and comfort in the studio. You also have an opt-out point after Ballet 101 if your schedule or needs change.

This format gives adults a steady path to learn ballet at a pace that feels manageable. You gain strength, vocabulary, and body awareness. You build confidence each week. You feel supported the entire way.

It all starts with Ballet 101. One class. One evening a week. A place where beginning feels doable.

Every Ballet Journey Begins with One Step—Start Yours

  • I have taken ballet a long time ago but started when I was 16, so I was put in a class with people who had taken ballet most of their life. Therefore, I didn’t get taught the terminology or detailed instructions on the movements. It’s been fun gaining that knowledge.

    Laura B.

  • It made me feel that starting ballet as an adult is possible. It gave me the confidence to go to other ballet classes.

    Paulina P.

  • Getting to learn new skills, meeting & socializing with others and building friendships, becoming more confident in myself and my abilities, learning more about ballet as an artform and the history behind the different movements/styles/etc.

    Katie C.
